What we collect

StockPilot AI collects the minimum data needed to operate:

• Account data — email address and license key if you purchase a paid plan.
• Contact form submissions — name, email, and message if you contact us via our website form. Retained for 12 months.
• Usage data — anonymized feature usage metrics (e.g., “metadata generated per session”).
• Payment data — processed by Lemon Squeezy. We never see or store your payment details.

What we do NOT collect

• Your uploaded images — they are processed locally or through AI APIs and never stored on our servers.
• Generated metadata — it belongs to you entirely.
• API keys — stored locally in your browser via Chrome's storage API.
• Personal browsing history, bookmarks, or other unrelated data.

AI processing

When you upload an image for metadata generation, it is sent to a third-party AI provider (such as Google Gemini or OpenCode) for analysis. These providers have their own privacy policies, and each agrees not to use your data for training purposes. You can choose which provider to use in the extension settings.

Third-party services

• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing (see their privacy policy for details).
• Formspree — contact form submissions (see their privacy policy).
• Resend — transactional emails (receipts, account notifications).
• Vercel — website hosting (standard server logs).

Data retention

Account data is retained until you request deletion. Usage analytics are aggregated and anonymized after 12 months. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@metacloudai.com.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, export, and delete your personal data. Contact us at support@metacloudai.com to exercise these rights.

Changes

We will notify you of material changes to this policy via email or the extension.
